“Wealth Safe Story” 

Hi I’m Warren Black, the man behind Wealth Safe.I am a qualified lawyer (with First Class Honours, winning the Mallesons Stephen Jacques prize for my thesis on capital gains tax) and accountant with over 23 years experience in tax and business law. I worked for 10 years at the ATO, and turned from the dark to the light, in 1999, and have now worked over 13 years in private practice as a lawyer and accountant.

Warren has had a passion since a teenager to make a difference in the law, and in peoples lives, especially tax. Australia has a burning passion to see reformation in government and societal issues. Warren loves spending time with his family (partner, ex wife and four sons), is an avid musician (he regularly plays Billy Joel and Jerry Lee Lewis rock and roll numbers as a feature item at his business seminars!), has a passion for nature, the beach, and quiet holidays at resorts.

I’ve often been asked what got me started. Two instances spring to mind.

At the age of 13, I remember reading my first law book. It stirred a real passion

At the age of 19, I was trying to win over a girl, and when asked what I wanted to do with my life, I said to her “I want to get people out of paying tax”.

I didn’t want the girl, but I found my life passion. I realised that I wanted to make a difference in society, and get people out of paying tax. Well not quite. More accurately, ensure that people only paid the correct amount of tax, and didn’t give any “unwanted donations”, as Kerry Packer put it well at the government Print Media Enquiry in the 1990s.

I finished my accounting degree in 1988, and in 1998, after a few hiccups, finished my law degree. As soon as I completed my law degree, I left the ATO and began work in private practice.

These days, I am known for my ability to create “out of the box” solutions to minimise tax for my clients, and protect their assets. I enjoy making the complex tax and asset protection secrets of the rich easily understood by the average person. I deal with clients from every walk of life, from mums and dads, new business owners, investors and traders, high income earners, high net worth clients, politicians, you name it!

I educate people on stage to be empowered, and be prosperous in all areas of life. I am an Australia-wide and international presenter in tax, asset protection and personal empowerment, and have spoken at a number of seminars, including:
